Cattle national supply is steady during the last two weeks. Total throughput is 30,255 head this week , the data of yarding is similar with last week in most states. Consignments of Queensland decreased slightly, down 2%, at 8,675 head, while cattle supply throughout NSW went up 11% week-on-week, to 12,779 head. There were 8% fewer cattle penned across Victoria this week, at 6,365 head, while SA reduced 32% over the same period, to 1,057 head. Numbers at WA’s Muchea market were back 2%, to 1,314 head, while supply at the Northern Tasmania saleyards declined from last week, with 65 head penned.
